Award-winning singer/songwriter Anders Osborne has announced his new album Picasso’s Villa is set for a release date of April 26 via 5th Ward/Missing Piece Records. Picasso’s Villa is the seventeeth full length album from the Swedish-born, New Orleans-based artist. Osborne has gone on record as saying that the album is a meditative look at living in America between 2018 and 2021. In announcing the new album, Osborne also shared the official video for lead single “Bewildered,” (seen above) a political diatribe that channels four decades of of civil unrest in America.

Recorded at Esplanade Studios in New Orleans, Picasso’s Villa features a backing band of Waddy Wachtel (Warren Zevon), Chad Cromwell (Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Joe Walsh), and Bob Glaub (Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne).
