North Carolina-based indie label Schoolkids Records has announced three new Record Store Day titles. The releases include the following:
NoctorumHoney Mink Forever
The Verlaines Way Out Where
The Groovie Ghoulies 40 Years of Kepi & The Groovie Ghoulies

The Schoolkids releases are only available at record stores participating exclusively in Record Store Day on April 20. All three bands have been making music for more than 25+ years and have been influential in their regional indie scenes. The Verlaines in their native New Zealand, The Groovie Ghoulies in the Bay Area and Noctorum in the United Kingdom.

The Schoolkids Records label is an offshoot of the actual retail, brick-and-mortar Schoolkids Records, a founding member of the Coalition of Independent Music Stores and a record store lauded by both Time Magazine and The Grammys as one of the best in the country. Schoolkids Records is widely heralded for being the launching point for Ryan Adams, Whiskeytown, Superchunk, Ben Folds, The Connells, Squirrel Nut Zippers and Archers of Loaf to name a few.
