Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and producer Danny Ross has announced the launch of the first ever Anti-Social Camp. Vol 1. The release is in partnership with digital distributor Amuse. Ross’ Anti-Social Camp is an interactive workshop of New York City-based producers and songwriters where songs are shared, developed, written and performed. Created by Ross in 2020 the goal of the workshop is to celebrate songwriters, promote music’s ability to impact culture and re-energize the NYC music scene.

Anti-Social Club shares partnerships with the: NYC Mayor’s Office, Spotify, The Recording Academy, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, BMI, SESAC and Dolby Atmos among dozens of advocacy organizations like She Is The Music and We Are Moving The Needle. The camp is an inclusive space, promoting women, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ creators and communities.

Alumni of Anti-Social Club include: Nile Rodgers, Moby, Andy Grammer, Kimbra, WALK THE MOON, Grace VanderWaal, X Ambassadors, JP Saxe, Rostam Batmanglij (formerly of Vampire Weekend), Rob Thomas, Madison McFerrin, Linda Perry, Tenille Arts, Marian Hill, Pom Pom Squad, and hundreds more.

Anti-Social Club Volume 1 will feature 13 songs (out of 100+ selections) that were made at Anti-Social Camp 2023. All songs featured on the album were made in 4-hour sessions last June with total strangers. Staggering the releases out on a weekly basis the lineup appears as follows:

Those wanting to participate in Anti-Social Camp 2024 can do so here. Applications close next Friday, March 1. The workshop takes place June 10-15 in New York City. Applications Last year’s 2023 installment saw 150 artists write 100 new songs over six days in the greatest city in the world.
