
North Carolina-based singer-songwriter Dawn Landes has unveiled the first single from her upcoming new album The Liberated Woman’s Songbook. “Which Side Are You On (1931)” is a duet with Kanene Pipkin of The Lone Bellow and is now available on all streaming platforms. The song was produced by Josh Kaufman (Bob Weir, The National, Josh Ritter, The Hold Steady, The War on Drugs). To celebrate the release of the “Which Side Are You On (1931)” Landes has also crafted a short video explaining the history behind the song.
The Liberated Woman’s Songbook, Landes’ eighth studio album, comes out March 29 and can be pre-ordered here. Landes has only two U.S. dates booked so far this year with a European tour looming in the fall. Her tour dates can be seen below:
