Kentucky’s GRAMMY-winning psych-rockers Cage the Elephant have announced their 45-date Neon Pill tour with California alt-rockers Young the Giant and upcoming singer-songwriter Bakar. The tour kicks off in June in Utah and ends September in Colorado.

Tickets go on sale Friday with a pre-sale available tomorrow.

Young the Giant’s last studio album was 2022’s fantastic album American Bollywood. They have since released a live album Live Across America ’23 via digital platforms last year.

The uber-prolific Cage the Elephant have been surprisingly quiet and has not released a studio album since 2019’s Social Cues. The sextet dropped single “Neon Pill” earlier this year. Follow up single “Out Loud” was released in tandem with this tour announcement. Both songs are from the band’s forthcoming album Neon Pill, due out later this year.

As a personal aside, I’ve seen both bands live and both are as elite as it gets. If this tour sounds mildly intruiging, do yourself a favor and buy tickets. You will not regret it.
