While the announcement in December that Hall + Oates are mired in a restraining order legal scuffle was curious to say the least, it’s still worth noting that both songwriters are still doing their thing and still making music. One such example is Daryl Hall‘s latest tour announcement. Starting in June he’s heading out on tour with Elvis Costello and The Imposters and special guest Charlie Sexton. The tour begins in Oregon and finishes up in Virginia.
If you’re anything like me, you’re also a fan of Hall’s Live From Daryl’s House TV series. As of today all 90 episodes of the show are now available on YouTube.
Hall has not released an album since 2011’s Laughing Down Crying whereas Costello remains as prolific as ever. His last album was 2022’s amazing The Boy Named If. Sexton on the other hand remains super busy but has not released an album since 2006’s The South Side Sessions (with one of my all-time faves Shannon McNally).
