Orlando, FL sextet The 502s have announced their latest single “Something Gonna Go Our Way” is avaialble for pre-save. The single is due out next Friday, March 15 (my twins’ birthday, woohoo!). The song is track two on the band’s highly anticipated self-titled album due out April 12. Frontman Ed Isola said of the song:

“This song was written as a mood booster for myself and my wife based off a saying we started using together…….you wake up and just dont feel yourself some mornings. ……when I am feeling this way, my loved ones and gratitude are the things that help. And at some point in time that I can’t specifically remember Maggie and I created and adopted the mantra……its a simple phrase but one that has brought countless hope and belief into my personal life. Here’s hoping this little song does the same for y’all.”

Over the last several years The 502s has criss-crossed the country and self-released both of their albums and all four of their EPs. And the hard work has paid off. Their song “Just a Little While” was featured heavily on Sirius XM’s The Spectrum. The band is known for its high-energy live sets and a parade of songs that focuses heavily on positivity, joy and exuberance. If this band is a new name to you, take the time to dive into their discography and feel your mood instantly elevate. The world can seeem divisive, polarized and melancholic. The 50s are a remedy to erase all of that. And trust me, their live show is more than worth the price
of admission.

If you’re thinking about seeing them live, the band heads out on The 502s Great American Road Trip Tour in April. Dates can be seen below. The band brings along Daniel Nunnelee as an opener for hte first leg of the tour and Zach Seabaugh for the second leg of the tour.
