Fort Worth, TX country rockers Green River Ordinance (GRO) have announced their new album For Old Times’ Sake will be released worldwide on March 29. The album marks their first studio effort in nearly a decade. In tandem with the album release GRO has released two singles “Tough Love” and the nostalgia-laden title track “For Old Times’ Sake” to all digital streaming platforms. Another single is due out before the album drops at the end of the month. To usher in the new album, GRO will host two events to celebrate amongst fans. .

On April 5, Fort Woth restaurant Gemmelle will host the band for a VIP acoustic dinner featuring a menu curated by Chef Tim Love. A day later the band will take to the stage for an album release concert at Tannahill’s Tavern + Music Hall. For those who cannot make it to Texas for the show the concert will be live-streamed.

Green River Ordinance got their start in the early 2000s and released the phenomenal album Out Of My Hands on Virgin Records in 2009. The alt-rock pop effort was very much akin to Gin Blossoms, Matchbox Twenty and The Fray. The band toured alongside Goo Goo Dolls, Collective Soul, Switchfoot, Train, Lifehouse, Eisley and Mute Math among others.

With the release of their 2016 album Fifteen GRO began crafting songs that veered more towards country-pop, Americana and roots-rock. Much like all the albums in their discography it was downright fantastic. The band called it quits shortly after and band members went on to pursue solo efforts. Thankfully, they’ve returned. Both these singles continue the band’s penchant for winning, sweetly affecting heartland rock.

Hot damn we are eager for Old Times’ Sake.
