Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Aaron Lewis has shared single “Over the Hill” the final preview from his upcoming album The Hill, due out March 29 on Valory Music Co. Lewis has said the song is a recognition of the fact that we all make mistakes and learn from them as we go. “Over the Hill” was co-written by Lewis, Matt McGinn and Bobby Pinson. The Hill is a mostly acoustic album co-produced by Lewis and Trick Pony co-founder Ira Dean. Anchored by Lewis’ throaty warble The Hill features a generous amount of guitar, dobro and mandolin. If that sounds intriguing, chances are you’ll downright love the album.

The Springfield, VT native first made a name for himself with the hard-rock outfit Staind who found ample success in the 2000s, mostly from the char-topping hit “It’s Been Awhile.” While Staind band continues to tour, Lewis has found another level of success with his country solo albums.
