Canadian-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Tenille Townes has dropped new single “Things That Brought Me Here” out now via Sony Music Nashville. Ostensibly a paean to taking what life throws at you and moving in that direction, the song is a co-write with Ben Rector.
In partnership with the single Townes has also announced The Thing That Brought Me Here, a Canadian tour, with tickets on sale March 22. The song was produced by GRAMMY-nominated Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, The Afghan Whigs). Townes heads out on a limited run of U.S. shows beginning on April 21 at South Florida’s Moon Crush Pink Moon Music Festival. Townes is currently touring in support of last year’s EP Train Track Worktapes.
