Those in the Atlanta metro area should make their way to Decatur this weekend for the Amplify Decatur Music Festival. The four-day music event is highlighted by this Saturday’s headline event, featuring sets from the likes of Blind Boys of Alabama, Dawes and Melissa Etheridge. Prior to Blind Boys of Alabama, the bands Jitterbug and Run Katie Run will also take to the stage. After Miss Etheridge’s set concludes concertgoers are invited to attend an after party at Trackside Tavern with doors opening at 11 p.m.

The event kicks off tomorrow with a comedy showcase at Waller’s Coffee Shop. Friday’s slate of shows features 12 bands at 8 venues.
