Mancunian singer-songwriter JP Cooper has announced his 2024 World Tour kicking off in Dallas, TX in September. Cooper will be touring behind his acclaimed albums Raised Under Grey Skies and She. He is also due to release his third album later this year. The world tour will include tour stops in the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia, including headlining shows in New Zealand, Australia and Japan.
Speaking of the tour, Cooper said the following: “I’m so so happy to announce that I’ll be embarking on a bit of a world tour later this year. It will be in support of my new album and I’m getting to visit a few places that I’ve never been to before. New Zealand I can’t wait to be in your beautiful country……it will be the furthest I’ve travelled and I’ll be doing some of the biggest headline shows I’ve ever done which is blowing my mind. I’ll be playing songs from my forthcoming album as well as favourites from my last few releases. Looking forward to seeing you guys out there.”
To date Cooper’s debut album Raised Under Grey Skies, released in 2017, has sold more than one million copies. Cooper has 18 million monthly listeners across all digital streaming platforms and a total of six billion total streams and counting. His hit song “Sing It With Me” was popular the world over. Since his 2017 debut abum he has played sold-out shows from Cape Town to Tokyo. This year’s world tour will look to continue that momentum. Selfishly, I sure wish he could have made a stop here in Orlando, FL. Sigh.
