Knoxville, TN’s Southern rockers The Dirty Guv’nahs have announced four tour dates for the remainder of the year. Per the band, “We are only playing four select cities this year, so we’re going to make ’em count.”

The first of the tour dates is the band’s own Southern Skies Music Festival in their hometown of Knoxville, TN. The slate of bands on the schedule for the festival include Old Crow Medicine Show, Amythyst Kiah, Maggie Rose, Grace Bowers, Wyatt Ellis and more.

The band has also promised that new music is in the works.

Formed in 2006, the Dirty Guv’nahs played relentlessly until 2015 before calling it quits. The band reformed three years later and has been hard at work ever since. The sextet is known for their high-energy live shows. To date the band has had their music featured on ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, ESPN, and the NFL Network among others.

To date the Guvs have shared the stage with the likes of: Zac Brown Band, Taj Mahal, Wilco, The Black Crowes, Needtobreathe, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and more. The band has also appeared at Bonnarroo, SXSW and other famed festivals. The Guvs have released seven albums to date, with the most recent being 2021’s Revival.
