90s rock stalwarts Better Than Ezra (BTE) have announced a May tour. Entitled the Live a Little Tour the monthlong tour features openers Hey Steve and Airpark. The tour kicks off this Friday and Saturday at House
of Blues in New Orleans and finishes at the end of the month in Bossier City, LA at Margaritaville Resort.

Better Than Ezra released the single “Live a Little” earlier this year via digital streaming platforms. Sun-drenched and undeniably upbeat the song is an open-hearted anthem to embracing life for all it’s worth. As with most things BTE does it’s effortless, polished and very, very hard
to dislike.

The band has not released a studio album since the 2011 Death Valley EP, an ode to the band’s alma mater Louisiana State University. Prior to that their last studio effort was the 2009’s brilliant Paper Empire. In the 12 years between the Death Valley EP and 2024 the band has released a series of one-off singles and cover songs, including but not limited to Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London” and Peter Gabriel’s ubiquitous “In Your Eyes.”

Frontman Kevin Griffin remains an in-demand songwriter and to date has written hits for the likes of Taylor Swift, Dierks Bentley, Wilder Woods, Andy Grammer, Christina Perri, Tom Morello, Chase Rice Andrew McMahon, Matt Nathanson and many others. Griffin is also co-founder and partner of the Pilgrimage Music Festival in Franklin, TN.
