New Zealand-born and London-based songwriter, producer and GRAMMY Award-nominated multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei has confirmed additional tour dates in the United States and Canada. Rakei is touring in support of his album The Loop, due out May 10 on Decca UK/Verve Forecast. Rakei has released four singles from the album: “Flowers,” “Freedom,” “Learning” and “Friend or Foe.The Loop is Rakei’s fifth album and first on Verve Forecast and Decca UK. The album was recorded at RAK Studios and self produced.

While he’s not yet a household name in America, Rakei is very much in the mainstream in the United Kingdom. Here’s hoping The Loop turns that tide for Rakei here in America. He is more than deserving of American attention.

Before his November U.S. dates, Rakei will host record store shows in May in support of The Loop’s release. He’ll then tour Europe and the UK in in the fall.
