Boston indie-folk duo Tall Heights have announced a slew of tour dates as part of their Northeast summer tour. The band will also open for Nashville rock outfit Needtobreathe in October as part of their Canadian tour. Their opening slot for Needtobreathe will also include one date
in Pennsylvania.
Tall Heights is touring in support of their self-released 2022 album Juniors, their sixth studio album. The band is also at work on another album with a release date TBD. Formed in 2009 the duo has also released three EPs in addition to their six albums. They were signed to Sony Masterworks from 2016 – 2018.
Their introspective arrangements and thought-provoking lyrics make them one of the more compelling indie-folk acts currently making music. They also remain a first-rate live band that this writer has had the privilege of seeing live twice. If any of the tourdates are close to you, do yourself a favor and see them. Also take 45 minutes and listen to their 2016 album Neptune, it is utterly mesmerizing.
