Nashville-based rock outfit Needtobreathe will release new single “Among Friends” this Thursday. The song dropping on Thursday is no accident. That same day their CMT Crossroads episode with country chart-topper Jordan Davis airs at 8 p.m. EST.

In releasing “Among Friends” the band has said the following: “We absolutely loved playing some of Jordan’s tunes and he sounded pretty great on ours as well. While we were together filming this episode, “Among Friends” is the product of that. The song features “Jordan’s re-imagination of our song “Banks” and our take on his song “Buy Dirt.” Make sure to pre-save it.”

Well known for their kinetic live set and their relentless touring schedule, Needtobreathe is on tour through the summer playing mostly the festival circuit with a few headlining dates sprinkled throughout.
