As country music continues to expand its reach and welcome in performers of all races, gender identities and ethnicities, it should be no surprise that the South Pacific community should enter the mix. OneRPM and Huff Co. have announced the signing of Maoli. He was raised by cowobys and has lived in the Hawaiian countryside his entire life. In short, he’s as authentic as any country music artist as you’ll find.
Huff Co. is led by Nashville producers Dann Huff (Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Lonestar, Hank Williams Jr, Faith Hill) and David Huff, who also produced Maoli’s new album Last Sip of Summer, due out June 27th. The Hawaiian singer-songwriter embarks on his Last Sip of Summer tour today in New Zealand and Australia before embarking aon 25+ state coast to coast United States tour. He visits Orlando in March and a review is likely forthcoming. Stay tuned!
