Americana heavyweights Trampled by Turtles (TBT) has announced a series of spring/summer dates. A West Coast tour announcement is expected next month. The band has also announced new merchandise. The quintet is touring behind their 11th album Always Here, Always Now, a collaboration album with Dead Man Winter (TBT frontman Dave Simonett’s side project) and featuring vocals from 90s country chart-topper LeAnn Rimes.
The album was self-released this past fall and continues the band’s commitment to self-releasing each album in their discography. That effort towards doing it on their own terms has enabled the band to continue to be one of the genre’s most appealing outfits.
Now in their second decade of making music, the Minnesota roots-rock outfit has charted on Billboard, has appeared on TV, major festival and relentlessly tours. Partnering rock and roll, bluegrass, folk and pop, they’re one of the most consistent and engaging outfits in the alt-rock/Americana/roots-rock/indie-folk sphere. If they’re playing near you, clear your schedule and head out to see them. You won’t be disappointed.
