This blog has been too quiet for too long, so let’s awaken it with a post that speaks to two of my loves: music and fine art. All American Rejects (AAR) frontman Tyson Ritter (an accomplished actor and model to boot) is slated to host an art exhibit in New York at the SPRING / BREAK Art Show. Ritter will share a booth with comedian Nick Thune. Reached for comment by his publicist about the art show, Ritter said the following: “Painting is my way of distilling emotion into something tangible, something that lingers.”

For those who prefer Ritter’s music side only, AAR returned with their first new single in more than a decade. “Sandbox” hit airwaves and DSPs earlier this month.
