New Jersey-based singer-songwriter James Maddock has announced his U.S. show for the foreseeable future. The June 11 gig at Flounder’s House in Hillsborough, NJ, marks his final show stateside before embarking on a month-plus of European gigs.
Maddock has also announced his first solo acoustic record will receive a vinyl release on the highly revered Masterdisk label. Pre-order info is forthcoming.
Equally as important, Maddock is putting the final touches on his new album Forever June, due out later this summer. The album, which was fun-funded, was produced by Steve Greenwell, a close friend of Maddock, who also produced Maddock’s solo breakthrough album, the deeply enchanting, Sunrise on Avenue C.
Once the European tour concludes in mid-August, Maddock has promised a handful of U.S.-based gigs before embarking on a six week European tour with Counting Crows.
Forever June will be Maddock’s 10th solo studio album. Now a resident of Bradley Beach, NJ, the ever prolific singer-songwriter shows no signs of slowing down. And for that we can all be quite thankful.
