Nashville singer-songwriter Will Hoge has announced his new album Sweet Misery is due out Aug. 22. The album is available for pre-order at his website. Sweet Misery will be Hoge’s 13th studio album and the successor to last year’s Tenderhearted Boys. Ever prolific, Hoge has released all 13 of his albums in less than 25 years. Hoge’s near-perfect 2001 debut Carousel remains a favorite of this writer, but truly there is nary a flaw in his entire discography. Pick an album and you sure to find something you’ll love.

Hoge is in the midst of a massive tour that began last month and stretches through mid-November touching the West Coast, Midwest, Northeast and Southeast regions. Tickets for each of the dates can be found at Will’s website as well.

Hoge’s shows features an array of openers, so please check Will’s site and eacch venue’s website to find which support act is playing at your show of choice. Hoge’s support acts include: Stephen Kellogg, Dalton Domino, Southern Avenue, Dave Hause, Bobby Houck (of the Blue Dogs), Tim Hause, July Moon and Possessed by Paul James.
