Mrs. Goyo and I just got back from our 10-year wedding celebration in Nashville and as expected there is much to write about. But those posts will come in time.
For now take this post as invitation to attend Brooke Moriber’s Nashville in New York City event, Feb. 28, from 7-9 p.m. at the legendary Bitter End. Tickets are $25. Need more reason to visit? James Maddock (another favorite of this blog) hails the room as one of the best in the city.
The line-up this time around includes: Moriber, Dylan Altman and the one-and-only Kristian Bush (one of this writer’s all-time favorite singer-songwriters). The event is hosted by Robby Bridges of 103.1 FM The Wolf.
Moriber, a Long Island native, is one this writer’s favorites (and not just because of our shared LI roots and our love of country music) and this blog has highlighted this event previously. But with GRAMMY-winner Kristian Bush on the bill and the memories of Nashville still fresh, no better time to promote the event than today.
Nashville in New York City is sponsored by: Victrola (a Long Island based company, no less); Taylor Guitars, Kicker and Suerte, among others.
Tickets can be found here. The event is close to selling out, so don’t delay. Seriously. Moriber is worth the price of admission alone, but add in Bush and Altman and hot damn, it’s as good as it gets.
