Last fall the Americana music scene lost one of its heavyweights when Todd Snider passed away. The details surrounding his death remain murky and unpleasant, but his lasting legacy will live on. In an effort to celebrate his three decades of music Luck Presents has announced Todd Snider Rules!, a tribute concert at Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch. The tribute concert is scheduled for March 20, the day after the 14th annual Luck Reunion.

The lineup for the tribute concert features the likes of:
Amanda Shires John Craigie Hayes Carll, Cody Canada, Jason Boland, Kevn Kinney, Dalton Domino, Shelby Stone, Jack Ingram, Ashleigh Flynn, Kat Hasty, Pedal Steel Noah, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Tommy Prine, Levi Snider, Garrett Boys, Emma Ogier, Caleb Martin, Dallas Burrow, Olivia Ellen Lloyd, Briscoe, Travis Roberts, Sterling Finlay and others.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here. And while fatherhood and work constraints will keep me here in Florida that weekend, this writer sure wishes like heck he could be there. A phenomenal lineup of musicians, a worthy cause and a fantastic venue. Can’t ask for much more. Here’s hoping it’s recorded or livestreamed. Maybe someone can grab me a t-shirt and send it my way.
